Write by the Sea

Write by the Sea was a new book festival in 2019, based in Tighnabruaich, celebrating writing that’s inspired by nature and place. A weekend of salty tales and poetry and prose shaped by the sky, the sea and the land was thoroughly enjoyed by those lucky enough to secure one of the 50 tickets.

The voluntary organisers are keen to hold another festival, but would like all the uncertainty of COVID to be off the agenda before they go forth and organise.
